Fran (played by Daisy Ridley) lives in a quiet Pacific Northwest town. Her days are monotonous: spreadsheets at work, Sudoku at night, and a glass of wine to unwind. But Fran harbors a secret—her waking life is haunted by vivid fantasies of her own death. She envisions herself as a corpse in the forest, lying on an empty beach, or hung from a crane. These morbid daydreams are both alarming and strangely captivating.
Enter Robert (Dave Merheje), the new co-worker who disrupts Fran’s isolation. Unlike her other colleagues, he sees her. Their interactions are refreshingly genuine.
